Farm Rules and Expectations

                                                      FARM RULES:

We would like to keep this a quiet, country setting for all to enjoy. We ask that these rules be followed for everyone’s comfort, safety, and convenience. Please exercise common courtesy and respect to others.

  • Smoking/Chewing of tobacco, consumption of Alcohol, or the use of Illegal substances is prohibited from premises- for the safety and cleanliness of our farm
  • Any one under the influence of any kind will be asked to leave premises
  • No Firearms allowed on premises
  • No running, yelling, swearing or horseplay on premises
  •  No littering –please put trash in appropriate containers
  • No tampering with or use of stable’s personal property
  • Requested Hours of Visitation - Hours 7am- 9pm
  • o    Any exceptions must be approved by stable owner 24 hrs prior
  • Promptly clean up your horse droppings or your miscellaneous product/ debris in aisle
  • Properly put away tack and equipment to its designated area (saddle & bridle racks, and shelving provided)
  • Boarders use their own tack and supplies, unless otherwise agreed upon
  • Share the aisle, cross ties, and hitching rail for grooming, tacking, and bathing- please be respectful of each other's space
  • Stalls use is for assigned horses/owners (full board or inclement weather board) 
  • Always lock gates after passing through, and shut barn/tack room door if last in barn
  • While discipline may be necessary, physical abuse will not be tolerated
  • Please, no dogs- for the safety of our family, boarders, and animals
  • If you open it, shut it, if you turn it on, turn it off, if you take it out, put it back
  • If something breaks, please notify stable owner
  • If bringing a child, they are to be supervised at all times
  • Use caution and common sense when bringing guests: farm rules apply to all & please ensure their safety
  •  If bringing a group of people to stable, please notify stable owner prior
  • Please,  no climbing of hay stack or fencing
  • Do not feed your horse, unless for treats or grazing in the field
  • Please dress appropriately for working around and riding horses
  • Please use proper horse handling techniques and equipment ensuring the safety of all

o    Complimentary hand wash and towels provided
